Day 1 Arrive In Xi’an
Once you arrive at Xian, our guide will meet you at the airport or railway station. They will drive you to your reserved hotel in Xi’an. Then you will have a rest in the hotel.

Day 2 Xi'an Sightseeing
In the morning, we will drive to the Museum of Qin Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses which is considered as the Eighth Wonder of the World. It is a great chance for you to experience the profound and amazing history of Qin Dynasty, the first United Dynasty in ancient China. It may give you an impressive image of the Period of Warring States in ancient China. Here you can see the life-sized warrior figures and horses with distinct facial expressions and positions. You may be surprised by the various kinds of ancient weapons which reflect the highly advanced technology in weapon-making 2,200 years ago.
After that, we are going to visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda built in Tang Dynasty, the most prosperous dynasty in ancient China. The Buddhist scriptures and figurines of the Buddha bring by Xuanzang from ancient Indu are well preserved in the Big Wild Goose Pagoda.

Day 3 Xi'an Sightseeing
Shanxi History Museum, one of the best museums in China is the best place to catch a glimpse of the glory of ancient Chinese civilization. It processes of large quantities of precious exhibits which can date from the Paleolithic era to the Qing Dynasty.
In the afternoon you can cycle on the top of Ancient City Wall. The wall is about 14 kilometers at the perimeter, with 98 defensive ramparts, four main gates, and a moat around it.The city wall is a wonderful example of an ancient defensive building.
Later, we are going to the Muslim Quarter, the most famous gourmet street and largest Muslim business street in Xi’an where you can chat with street vendors of Muslims and buy some exquisite handicrafts and enjoy delicious local snacks.

Day 4 Departure From Xi’an To Lhasa
Today, you will depart from Xi’an to Lhasa. You need to get up early to go to the Xi’an West Railway Station as the train will depart in the morning. You'd better arrive at the railway station 1 hour before the train stops at Xi’an, for you need to exchange your e-ticket for a paper ticket. Please be sure you have taken your original Tibet Travel Permit and passport. Your local tour guide will send you to the train station.
You will spend 30 or 32 hours on the train and enjoy the breathtaking scenery along the famous Qinghai-Tibet railway, such as Hoh Xil, Kunlun Mountains, Tanggula Pass, Tuotuohe and so on. Accommodation:

Day 5 Arrival In Lhasa (3680m)
Welcome to Lhasa! Our local Tibetan guide and driver will wait for you at Lhasa Railway Station by holding your name sign. You will be greeted with a warm Tashidelek (meaning hello with blessing), and be presented with a white Hada (traditional Tibetan ceremonial by giving you a white scarf). Then transfer you to the hotel in Lhasa city while you enjoy the stunning views of the Yarlong Tsangpo River. After checking into your hotel, the rest of day is free for you to have a good rest and acclimatize to the high altitude at the top of the world. If you physically feel good, you can visit the Potala Palace Square, far view the Yaowang Mountain and take a panoramic view of the Potala Palace. Remember to drink lots of water, eat light and high carbohydrate food which will be helpful to you to adapt the high altitude better and quicker.

Day 6 Lhasa City
In the morning our guide will meet you at the hotel and take you to visit famous Potala Palace, the cardinal landmark of Tibet and the masterpiece of Tibetan architecture, it was first built by 33rd King Songtsen Gangpo in the 7th century and rebuilt it later in 17th century by 5th Dalai Lama, now it is a museum and world heritage site.
In the afternoon, we will go to visit Jokhang Temple in the center of the old Lhasa city. Jokhang Temple is one of the most sacred temples in all over Tibet and it is always bustling with earnest local pilgrims since from early days. After that you will take a walk around the Barkhor street which is the one of the most devotional circuit as well as crowded central market of Lhasa, Barkhor Street is located in the old area of Lhasa City Tibet, it is a very ancient round street surrounding the Jokhang Temple and the locals are always proud of it. As a symbol of Lhasa, it is also a must-see place for visitors.

Day 7 Lhasa Suburb
After breakfast, our tour guide will first take you to visit Drepung Monastery which is the world's largest monastery that housed for over 10,000 monks; it was the resident of the Dalai Lama. After lunch, you will continue to visit the Sera Monastery which was founded in 1419 by Tsongkapa's disciple Jamchen Choeje. The most attractive thing of Sera Monastery is Buddhist Scriptures debating held in the courtyard between 15:00 - 17:00 from Monday to Saturday.

Day 8 Lhasa- Gyantse(4040m)- Shigatse(3840m), 360km, Approx 6hrs
You will go to Shigatse from Lhasa via Gyantse today.
Firstly, you can have a glimpse of Yamdroktso Lake during the way to Gampala pass (4790m). This is the holy lake surrounded by plenty of snow-capped mountains. And special views of Holy Mount Nyenchen Khangsar (7191m) ---the highest mountain near Lhasa, comes out later soon.
You will see the Korala Glacier when we pass it on the roadside. After hanging pray flag at Simila Mountain pass, we will arrive in Gyantse, the third largest city in Tibet after Lhasa and Shigatse. We shall visit Pelkor Monastery with Gyantse Kumbum and then see the Gyantse Fortress from a distance.
It normally takes one and a half hours to drive from Gyantse to Shigatse.

Day 9 Shigatse -Tingri -Rongpuk–EBC(5100m), 350km, Aprox. 7hrs
Before we drive to Lhatse to have lunch, we will visit the famous Tashilunpo Monastery, the home of Panchen Lama.
After passing Tsola Pass (4600m) and Gyatsola Pass (5248m), we will enter the National Nature Reserve of Mt. Everest, from where tourists can enjoy the panorama of Himalaya at Gawula Pass (5198m),
And then we will go directly to Everest Base Camp (5100m). You can see the amazing sunset of golden Everest peak at the lodging area if the weather is good.

Day 10 EBC-Shigatse , 350km, Approx. 7hrs
The great sunrise of Everest Peak is far out of your imagination. Enjoy the peaceful and wonderful morning you’ve never had. After that, we will go to the Rongbuk Monastery, which is the highest monastery in the world. Then we may trek to EBC from lodging area. You can have a good look at Mt. Everest from EBC and take clear photos of it. In the end, we will start to return to Shigatse.

Day 11 Shigatse–Lhasa, 280km, Approx 6-7hrs
We will visit the last attraction of this itinerary today---Yungdrungling Monastery, a typical Buddhist monastery. And then, the driver will take you to your hotel in Lhasa. It costs 6-7 hours because of the speed-limit regulation.
